My name is Shiden Young
Welcome to Blue Cactus Equine—where your horse’s health is my top priority.
My love for horses began in childhood through riding, which sparked a lifelong dedication to understanding them. At 20, I worked at a pack station, an experience that deepened my appreciation for horses as unique individuals and ignited my desire to help them in meaningful ways.
I pursued an Equine Science degree at Scottsdale Community College, gaining extensive hands-on experience and a strong academic foundation. It was there that I discovered equine massage therapy and instantly connected with the power of healing through touch and listening.
In 2024, I earned my AAS in Equine Science, and by spring 2025, I completed the Level II Equine Massage Therapy program through SCC, graduating with over six months of hands-on training and certification.
Now, my mission is to help horses feel their best—restoring stride, balance, and comfort, one muscle at a time.
